This policy explains how 2455227 Ontario Inc., operating as Contractor AI Check (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information through contractoraicheck.com and our Contractor AI Visibility Audit service.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, business name, website, location, services, service areas, business goals, competitor information and other details you submit. We also research information that is publicly available about your business, such as website content, directory listings, reviews and business profiles.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number. Stripe may provide us with transaction details such as your name, email, business name, payment status and amount.
Why we use it
We use this information to process your order, communicate with you, research your business’s public visibility, prepare and deliver your Visibility Action Pack and recheck, provide support, prevent misuse, maintain business and tax records, and improve our service.
Service providers and disclosure
We may share information only as reasonably necessary with service providers that help us operate, including Stripe for payments, Namecheap for business email, OpenAI or similar AI providers for assisted analysis, and our website hosting and database providers. These providers may process information outside Canada. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a business reorganization.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
AI-assisted processing
Action Packs are generated and delivered automatically using AI-assisted tools. We may review delivered material when providing support, correcting an error or investigating a failed delivery. Do not submit passwords, confidential client records, financial account details, government identification numbers, health information or other sensitive personal information. Please submit only information you are authorized to provide.
Retention and security
We retain order and Action Pack information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above and for legal, accounting, dispute-resolution and security requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and access rights
You may ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or request deletion where we are not required to retain it. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from completing the service. We do not currently send promotional email unless you separately agree to receive it.
